Suburb profile
Bellambi is a coastal mid-sized suburb where beach life and relaxed outdoor living shape the local character. Sea and sand are the main draw, with neighbouring coastal communities easy to explore on a free afternoon. Sea breezes and coastal air are part of everyday life, especially on warmer evenings.
Families and commuters make up much of the community, with plenty of young families in the mix. Green space is a real strength, with parks and playgrounds woven through the suburb. Strong public transport connections keep the wider area accessible.
The area offers approachable housing costs alongside a lifestyle that still feels complete. Active development is adding new homes and refreshed pockets throughout the suburb.
On the desirability index, the suburb sits around average overall, mainly because community and employment and local dining and lifestyle amenities lag similar coastal suburbs, despite relative strength in housing affordability and parks and green space. Limited access to some essential local services also trimmed the result.
