Suburb profile

Indi is a welcoming smaller community in Snowy Valleys, with a settled community character. Distance from the capital is noticeable, but the trade-off is space, calm and a community that knows its neighbours. Families and commuters make up much of the community, with a strong presence of young families throughout.

The town centre holds its own, with enough local flavour to make staying close to home appealing. Housing carries a premium, but residents tend to feel the lifestyle justifies the commitment.

A trickle of new development is refreshing selected pockets without changing the overall feel.
