Suburb profile
Beaudesert is a hillside mid-sized suburb in Scenic Rim, with elevated streets and a greener, quieter pace. The community is self-contained in the best sense. Local life comes first, with the region opening up beyond. Fresh country air and elevated outlooks are part of the appeal up here among the hills.
Long-term locals and family households define much of the community, with plenty of young families in the mix. Coffee, casual meals and neighbourhood eateries give the suburb a lived-in social scene. Outdoor life is easy here, with generous parks and room for kids, dogs and weekend strolls.
Housing remains accessible compared with many parts of the state. This is a mature, settled pocket where the existing streetscape still defines the local character.
On the desirability index, the suburb rates good overall, led by parks and green space and schools and education, while community and employment sit closer to the middle of the pack for similar regional towns.
